We will invoice your account with your first monthly charge of GBP 25.00 (plus VAT as applicable) when you click the button below.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Pro-merchant Subscription

What does my Pro-merchant Subscription include?
  1. Discounted selling. The per sale commission is waived on every Amazon Marketplace listing you create after you become a Pro Merchant Subscriber -- you pay only the remaining commission, according to our Marketplace fee schedule.
  2. Discounted listing. The £0.05 Auctions listing fees are waived--there are no listing fees at either Amazon.co.uk Marketplace or zShops.
  3. Loading tools. Access to the Book Loader, Inventory Loader and Auctions Bulk Loader for listing and managing dozens--even thousands--of listings at once.
  4. Access to zShops. All Amazon.co.uk Marketplace items also appear in zShops, but only Pro-merchant subscribers may list an item directly in zShops and create a zShops Storefront.
  5. Unlimited Marketplace selling. You're welcome to maintain an unlimited number of Amazon.co.uk Marketplace items in the Amazon.co.uk shops.

How many listings can I have?

You may list an unlimited number of Amazon Marketplace items.

How will I be invoiced?

Your Pro-merchant Subscription fee of £25* (plus VAT as applicable) is assessed once every month, beginning on the date your Pro-merchant Subscription begins. The subscription fee will be listed in your Amazon Payments account summary and charged against any sales you have completed. If your Payments Account balance exceeds £25 (plus VAT as applicable), your monthly Pro-merchant Subscription fee will be deducted from that balance. If not, the remaining difference will be deducted from your credit card. If you would like to alter or update the credit/debit card used to pay the subscription fees, you may do so at any time via Edit your seller settings in your Seller Account.

Does VAT apply to my Pro-merchant Subscription fee?

Due to a new law in the European Union that subjects electronically supplied services (including Pro-merchant Subscription fees) to value added taxes (VAT), Amazon.co.uk Marketplace will be required to charge VAT on all seller fees including Pro-Merchant Subscription fees charged on or after 1 July 1, 2003. For further details, please see our VAT on Seller Fees help page.

How do I cancel my Pro-merchant Subscription?

You're welcome to cancel your subscription at any time. By canceling, you're ensuring that you will not be charged for the upcoming month. Your current month's subscription will run its course, so you can continue listing items until the end of your subscription period. To cancel your subscription, click on Edit your buyer and seller settings within your Seller Account. There, you'll find a link for canceling your subscription.

When you cancel your subscription, you will need to tell us how you would like us to handle your current listings. You can either have us take your listings off the site when your subscription ends or you can choose to have your listings remain on our site, if you wish to continue selling as a non-Pro Merchant seller. Note that if you wish to continue selling, after your subscription ends you will lose all of the benefits of the Pro Merchant program, including the transaction-fee waiver and access to volume listing tools. Any current auctions will end at the time shown on our online details page.

Why isn't the Sell an Item form recognising that I'm a subscriber?

If you've paid for a Pro-merchant Subscription but you're still being charged listing fees when you sell an item, it is likely that you simply need to log in again. Your subscription is associated with your account--if you've logged in from another account you won't be recognised. Simply go to Manage Your Account, then click "Log Out" and sign in using the account details you initially subscribed with.
